Has anyone been put on Tanzeum with Metformin? My doctor says this will aid in weight loss. Any feedback?

I am taking Tanzeum but I am not on metformin. I was on metformin before with victoza. Victoza and tanzeum are about the same. They help curb hunger. The victoza is a daily injection and tanzeum is weekly. I am in insulin which makes me really hungry and the tanzeum helps with that. I told the doc that I wanted something were I didn't have to stick myself so many times per day.
