So, starting Metfromin tomorrow, any suggestions? I am to take 2 extended release tablets a day. Guess I feel that is a little heavy to start out, but not a Dr. The regular Metfromin is twice a day but same dosage. Here's to no side effects.
At this point, with eating better and more exercise, I'll take the lower levels even if it means with a little Rx for now. |

I have been on Met-formin for 3 weeks now and it does make a difference. I am on the same dosage. 2 pills a day. Take one rite before or rite after you eat. It will help keep your glucose level down.
Are you using a glucose meter? |

Make sure you don't take it on an empty stomach and keep a log of your food and any stomach issues. I was able to pinpoint problems with certain foods.
