I woke up this morning at 51, had some juice, three eggs and a peanut butter/cocoa/protein powder shake and about twice as many strawberries as I should have. No Humalog. Walked for a half hour and bs spiked to 168. Not sure why, with the protein and exercise. Even a half hour later, I was at 166. I think it was the juice - I only had cranberry, with real sugar (no hfcs) and it hit my blood before I could have the shake (5 minutes after the juice!). Any thoughts? Last night my bs was 157 after a walk and 15 almonds/1 oz Swiss from 85, too.
