No, you are not doing anything wrong.
From the GB Help Thread:
Current Problems Noted After iOS 5.0, 5.0.1 and 5.1.0 Installation
The "Push Reminders" currently do not work.
The right side of the select wheel is not working in My Info; My Tools; Primary Meter.
Just leave it at it's default, until the App is updated.
