Wish I had known about the tendency for we diabetics to have bowel and gastric issues before I started Byetta... it made mine worse, but I didnt make the connection until in discussion with the gastroenterologist who will be doing my colonoscopy in two weeks. He put it together with the slow gastric emptying that comes with Byetta... and said my stopping it was probably a good thing and none too soon.
Actos? Bladder Cancer? Geez, we really are having some crap times with the drugs that will protect other parts of our bodies, arent we. I'm going to stay on mine for the moment :-/, only just began...
