Tendinitis is common with diabetes. A number of diabetics get "trigger finger". I've been diabetic for 25+ years and have neck, shoulder and hand tendonitis as well. It is important to seek support of you have trigger fingers particularly - this is when the tendon is getting stuck. Be also mindful of cortisone injections. In diabetics rupture of the tendon is more common. Best of luck with it; and stay on top of it
