I am a type 2 diabetic who never had problems with my weight. My endocrinologist told me that insulin is a hormone that makes weight lose more difficult but not impossible. I have started watching my caloric and fat intake more carefully and have increased my cardio exercise. All this is helping and the weight is coming off, albeit slowly. I had to adjust my goals because I was getting depressed because it was so much harder to get the weight off than before I was on insulin. I am doing it though and do can you. Slow and sure wins the race is my new motto.
