Default A1c

I too became concerned that my latest lab A1c result was significantly higher than what I had expected based on GB and my own estimates. My nutritionist suggested that post-meal spikes are probably elevating the A1C value and that I should test after a meal to get a better idea of how meals are affecting my glucose levels. I currently test only pre-meal and bedtime.
