I am new to this and no kind of doctor. Diagnosed with type 2 about 6 weeks ago. I was 589 I learned of it. Went on a strict diet and got it back down in the low 100 range. At the suggestion of a friend I started eating a tablespoon of chia seeds with my oatmeal in the morning and another one at dinner time. Feel great and it helps my glucose during workouts. I won't try to talk you into anything but it's worth a google. Good luck
