Normal. The HbA1c test is very good at determining you overall average for the last 90 days. I think that you are missing something with your testing. I would assume that the test range, that you previously mentioned, is during your waking hours. I think that you will find much higher values during the night, therefore, you should try testing during the night. It helps to set alarms periodically, to help you with this, as you sleep.
