Victoza is a relatively new injectable for T2 diabetics. Many users have taken it to reduce appetite, lower glucose levels, and to help reduce insulin doses. But many Victoza users have also reported bad side effects that are too numerous to list here. I was on Victoza for about three months but a tachycardia(fast heart rate) forced me off. I know that Victoza was the cause. Also, the FDA approval of Victoza was accompanied by warnings about thyroid and pancreatic cancers.
I advise anyone considering Victoza to read forum postings that detail users' experiences with this drug.
