Hey, I'm Mark,
I was diagnosed in 2001, when I was 3 years of age. I started to drink lots of water, to a point that I woke up in the middle of the night and took the water that my Mum brought up to bed with her. One night she threw the water out the window after I was getting angry and upset that she didn't give it to me, I started crying.
The next Monday she took me to my GP. They did a blood test on me and it came back high. They said I needed to go to hospital straight away.
I was in hospital for a few days while they did tests on me and stuff. The tests came back positive, I had diabetes );
I am now 13 and have dealt with it very well. I hope it has gone, and continues, to go as well as it has gone for me as it does for you.
