I read this thread with interest. I was diagnosed in May as Type 2, diet controlled but if I couldn't get my fasting numbers under control I would have to go on metaformin.
I started walking 1.5 miles in the morning and 1.5 miles after dinner... I have a new shepherd so it helps him as much as me!
I noticed my evening testing fell below or just over 100 after walking and my fasting avg for the past few days is around 115!! I am very excited by this! I've also dropped 11 lbs so that also is helping

I say go for it!!
