Thanks, Jen! It is nice to know I'm not the only one who has been through this. Kind of like back in 5th grade when I learned I wasn't the only diabetic kid in town. Though now, as a 39yr veteran of diabetes, I seem to know more people with one type or another than not! It's interesting, also, to hear a non-diabetic has gone through it. Guess we aren't the only "lucky" ones!
