I would recommend making an appointment with a nutritionist, as well. Often requirements for toddlers/kids with diabetes are slightly different. Also developing a relationship with a nutritionist now will come in handy as your daughter gets older and her requirements change. They are also great in helping to determine the distribution of carbs throughout the day to keep bgs as stable as possible. Good luck!
