Yes and on the skin around the area also! For me, a type 1 on the pump, it mostly happens after I have had an infection that required an antibiotic and for several months after. For the skin issue I use gold bond powder and it seems to calm things down somewhat but it is a real problem that just seems to go along with the illness.
I will say that the doctors never really tell us that this is going to be an issue we will have to proactively deal with - ugh.
