I am sorry to hear about your daughter. Type 1 diabetes is manageable, with recent break-throughs it is more manageable than just a few years ago. Take a look around this forum and you will find posts from people that have had this dreaded disease from 40-60 years and they are doing great. Keep your chin up, because there is a lot of work involved in taking this beast by the horns. It can be done and you can do it. Educate yourself, read all you can. Good luck!
