I was diagnosed at 12 with t1..tried the pump around 15 years old and honestly it did not make me happy at that age..i am female so between high school and boys it just was not right for me and i was unhappy and went back to pen..then later on around 23 i chose the pump again..i have been on pump steady now for 4 years and as annoyig as it is at times it is the right choice for me now at thiae point in my life..i am getting married in a few months and the pump is necessary if i want to have children one day so like i said then it was not good for my lifestyle but now as a mature adult with more info on the disease it is a great choice for me now and i luv it it makes u think about it much less then when you use the pen
