Welcome to the Forum!

Most of us have been where you are right now. Loose the weight and keep exercising. A thirty (30') minute walk after dinner may help with the morning (fasting) blood sugar. If not then read up on the "Dawn Phenomenon". I hope the information helps. Good luck with your control and management!
