yes do get these tests done c-peptide and a GAD 65 both are simple blood test depending on the result number for both test is how you can determine type 1 or 2 get copies of the results and keep them with you. Stops alot of arguments and advise from doctors and other professionals (lol) that only know what they read about diabetes, usually pamphlets.
