If you are Type 2 and you want normal blood sugar readings fast, just eliminate ALL processed food. This will pretty much take care of blood sugar spikes and the resulting insulin dumps=weight gain. Of course this will eliminate all wheat in the process. If you exercise at least 30 minutes a day--preferably first thing in the morning--you will also drop any extra weight fast. Not everyone can give up their crack (wheat) and it isn't easy. After a couple of weeks, however, the benefits will outweigh everything else and the cravings do subside. A lot of folks are not necessarily gluten intolerant pre se, but the majority of the population does have a reaction to modern day Dwarf Mutant variety wheat. For me, my nose is no longer stopped up every morning and indigestion and acid reflux are a thing of the past. My morning blood sugar is now usually 89-96 with no medication.
