Has anyone heard of the 4 hour diet? When I saw the name of this thread it made me think of it. There's much more to it but one thing they discovered is that if a person is trying to lose weight and live healthier they should give themselves one (1) cheat day per week and pig out. It fixes the metabolism and u keep the weight off in the long run. Thus helping with health issues like diabetes. Just search the web for the four hour diet. The book is good and there are videos on YouTube. The guy who created it spent a crap load of money and pursued the answers for over a decade. His story and the diet are fascinating.
