Hey, I'm a sophomore too, and I've had it since I was 8. It will be hard at first and some people will not understand, because everyone that doesn't have experience thinks a pill is all diabetes takes. Unfortunately us type 1's are only 5% of the diabetic population and it takes much more for us. I would recommend seeking advice from a medical or emotional counselor. Your endo will probably be able to give you some resources as well. I honestly wish you the best
