It works even if you cannot exercise much but I will be swimming 3x a week and doing some light weight training. Good luck!

I just dropped twenty lbs in 5 weeks on a diet of no dairy and no grains. Two fruits a day are allowed and as many veggies and salads as I can consume. I'm allowed twelve ounces of protein in a day (over 3 meals plus snack) from sources like fish, chicken, turkey, and even a little beef (although I am not a beef eater). Nutritionist is not big on soy because of the estrogen factor. Nuts and seeds are allowed two to three times a week, and beans just once a week since they are high in carbs. I make fruit/veggie shakes for breakfast with vegetable based protein powder. Peanut butter is not allowed but almond butter is fine. I also have an underactive thyroid and the doctor keeps claiming I am not ready for meds yet, although everything I read says I should be on them, so it has been very difficult for me to lose weight in the past. I'm thrilled that the nutritionist was recommended to me. Marlene
