Went to church, had two cheese straws ( no fruit or juice) and came home to a reading of 234. I've been using my mothers Novalog on a sliding scale and it doesnt do much. I see my GP tomorrow morning, but any ideas till then? Trying to drink more water, but 'm not really thirsty.

My fasting numbers have always been high and then they go down as the morning goes on. The nutritionist I am now seeing told me to have some protein before bedtime (some almond Butter, or turkey, or a hard boiled egg). It has brought my fasting numbers to down around 100. Good luck.
