Five to six small diabetic friendly meals(low carb) per day and walking worked for me a few years ago... I had my blood sugar down to normal levels for a while but I like the starchy stuff too much and fell off the wagon for a while. Getting on track now and seems to be working still. If you can get through the first week... you can do it.

I lost 30 lbs in about 6 months and didn't need any meds just controled the blood sugar levels with diet. Its hard work.
