One of the main reasons I started logging data into my iPod Touch was because of a Youtube video showing someone logging their One Touch readings right into an iPhone as pert of a presentation of the possible future of using iPod/iPhones for medical use. The demostration was conducted using a wired connection but it was meant to show the possibilties using their app along with Bluetooth.

I know there are already Bluetooth enabled meters out there like the One Touch Ultralink but it's only meant to communicate with a pump.

MyGlucometer only uses BT to transfer data to a website and not your own software where you can plot the results from your own hard data. Apparently we're all too stupid to interpret data on our own.

Then there's the Wavesense Jazz Wireless that's still awaiting FDA approval. Of course the FDA has no trouble fast forwarding a wide array of erection drugs but can't find the motivation to help those with chronic illnesses.

It seems to me like some of these solutions would be a priority since the diabetes industry is probably the biggest goldmine in medical history. Of course theres no profit in health so anything that improves health is low priority.

Sorry for the rant, must be getting hypo.
