Default Diabetes management is hard work

Runningdad

It is hard work managing your diabetes. I have also been a type 2 diabetic for about 7 yrs. it is a progressive, debilitating disease. If you fall off the wagon regarding diet, exercise, meds.,Weight loss, as I have several times, it is waiting for you. From what I have read, many people do get off their meds, but this must only be done with your doctor's knowledge/approval/cooperation. Diet and exercise are the best way to control Diabetes. According to what I have read the body can become resistant to pharmaceutical meds., necessitating higher and higher doses to get the desired results. Eventually this can cause damage to the kidneys. You should Research online. There is a wealth of information available, so read up and reach your own conclusions. This is just my opinion. Keep running.
