I will have to agree with the previous poster (janzar) meds and diet work together. No matter what medication you are on you need to watch what you eat. Exercise and keeping the carbs low insures lower blood sugar measurements. This is the only way to combat T2 diabetes, since you are obviously not insulin dependent. You should read the Blood Sugar 101 and the Carb Counting 101 threads carefully.

Post Prandial Testing will be of benifit to you. I did go back and read your introduction. I see that you are a nurse and that you are currently doing the 1hr and 2hr PP tests. Atleast by doing this you know what foods spike your blood sugar. Take the Diabetes beast by the horns, you will persevere! Good luck with your management!
