I love the Animas - thing can seriously take a beating. I was in the same boat - became really frustrated with my mini med after the buttons kept "sticking" and the thing would crap out on me from just getting a little sweat on it! I will say, however, I miss the Bolus Wizard from Medtronic - it was very easy to add a BG to a meal bolus or add some carbs to a correction bolus, but it's a little more complicated with the Animas (has separate "ezCarb" and "ezBG" functions, though you can add a BG to the ezCarb option which makes it similar to the bolus wizard, but not as seamless if that makes sense?)...

As for the CGM, the Seven came with this really lame case with a clip on it, but I don't use it. It's a pretty small receiver, and you'd be getting the G4 Platinum which is even smaller and looks like an iPod of sorts - very easy to stick in your pocket... but I'm unsure if it comes with a separate case/clip/holster type thing... you might want to give them a call though, nice helpful people. 1-888-738-3646
