Try an ounce or so of almonds. I was eating nothing before bed and my morning BSG was the highest of the day. I read about the "dawn effect" and tried almonds one night before bed. My BSG was about 30-40 points lower the next morning. I have been on almonds since and now my morning BSG is my lowest test of the day. Hope this helps.
