I am sure that there is a happy medium for you. It appears that you have chosen a low carb diet plan and I assume that you count carbs and bolus for the carbs at each meal. Exercise can make a world of difference as well. You don't have to be in the gym 24/7, but it does take some effort on our part. It does appear that you are putting in the effort with the 3-4 times a week. Have you every considered actually calculating the number of carbs that you should have per day? The information is at the end of the Carb Counting 101 thread, in one of my last posts. If you get a chance, read the first three threads in the Type 2 Section, as it is good information for all with diabetes. Good luck with the weight loss.
