You are not doing any thing wrong, but you are most-likely experiencing the
Honeymoon Phase Period. Do a Google search to find out more. During this time you may need to adjust your insulin accordingly and you should contact your doctor for advice in doing so. Once the "Honeymoon Phase" subsides, your levels should stabilize.
