My experience with Metformin is that it isn't an optional thing. You want fairly consistent numbers. A lot of things factor in to that: body mass, blood chem., how much insulin your body does produce, etc. TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR! Please. I've read in a number of rep. studies/papers that most Dr.'s use 80 as the boarder between normal & hypoglycemic.
