All people with diabetes are different and you can't use a chart to calculate everyone's insulin requirements. You really should go to an endocrinologist to get your High Blood Sugar Correction Factor (CF) (ISF) and your Carb Coverage Ratio (CCR) (I:CR) calculated.

Just for the record; If my blood glucose level was at 200 mg/dl, I would take 3.2 units of NovoLog and I am very insulin resistant. Your calculations equate to five times my dosage and this would definitely not be good for me.
