Where is this help file of which you speak? I can't find it.
I suppose I could always re-import the entire dataset each time, but that's really clunky.
Tell me where the help file is and I'll see if the thing mention is sufficient, although if it's based on the date/time field, it's not, since the date and time of a given log entry can be altered. Having an unalterable and unique identifier for each record will make it much easier to keep track of any data that was changed in an existing record.
