I exported my data from here, converted to a tab delimited file, and uploaded it to CoPilot.

It imports directly from my meter - but I was able to transfer directly from an excel spreadsheet...

They would not work for me. Carbs over about 20 in a 3 hour period elevate my blood sugar into the diabetic range (over 140). To eat enough low fat vegan food to survive, I'd have to eat way more...

Have you considered dramatically cutting carbs?

What influences your blood sugar most is the number of carbs you are currently consuming. It is very hard to maintain a vegan diet without consuming a level of carbs that will elevate most diabetics...

In a matter of minutes. So - I hate to break it to you - the 160 after starting Metformin is far more likely an accident of timing than a sign the metformin is working. (It typically takes 1-2...

It will be a challenge to get off of the meds eating a vegan diet. Blood glucose rises in response to carbohydrates - and much of the food most vegans eat is high in carbohydrates.

I am currently...

I'm still early on.

By 3 days I had normal blood glucose most of the time. The last several days (starting around 3.5 weeks in), it was completely normal all the time (below 100 when fasting, and never above 120).

I finally pried more information out of my doctor's hands.

He posted the results of the bloodwork he took the day of diagnosis.

Blood sugar (don't recall if it was fasting or not - but it likely was) 162.
A1C - 7.2

Since that day, I have not had any...
