Coke Zero for me. I was a Pepsi drinker until I went diet and then I switched. I try not to drink it too often but that hard. I also don't keep it in the house.

It could be the meds your taking. Also, if you are not eating until lunch your blood sugar will drop. Glimeperide will cause your blood sugar to go too low.

My blood sugar dropped really low & they found a UTI. I have heard that if you have diabetes & get a UTI your blood sugar can drop. Anyone have this experience?

I lost 30 lbs & got off meds. Put it back on and worse numbers than before. Yes, for some it can be controlled by weight. Working on getting off again & for good this time.

It is scary but you can take control. Watch the carbs & sugar intake. Exercise really helps. Just a short walk can make a difference.

Glimeperide dropped me so low I had to go to the emergency room. I was down in the 30's. My Dr. said that this med tends to do that. She took me off of it. I only use Byetta now.
