dumb question
Just got my Android a few weeks ago & have NO IDEA on how to get/use the BG app....would LOVE to have it, though (please, be nice to me--I am a mid-aged lady):D

So I read above that it doesn't check blood...
So I read above that it doesn't check blood glucose but checks interstitial fluid glucose...how soon after taking a bite of food will your levels rise?

From what I understand, the carbs in alcohol...
From what I understand, the carbs in alcohol DON'T convert to glucose....but in mixed drinks, all the "mixers" and soda-7/up-Sierra Mist etc ARE high in sugar & carbs.

Hi all,
I was dx w/T2 in January of this year. Complete & TOTAL surprise! I take 500mg of Met 2x a day & have started regular exercise & I've lost 8#'s since I started 2/7 :)
Already had to alter...
