I was diagnosed about a year ago and I've been in the honeymoon phase ever since but I'm coming out really fast and the Doctor/Endochrinologist is starting me out on an Insulin Pen! {:D

The honeymoon phase is when your pancreas is still making some Insulin but not enough. I was diagnosed 10 months ago and I've been honeymooning ever since. I think I may be coming out of it though...

When I was first diagnosed,my blood sugar was 926 and got several shots and didn't get to eat for about 7 hours
