Got results back from last Friday. They were 15.6. Just got my first monitor and strips and it reads 8.9. Is it possible to have such a HUGE spike like the first test? Maybe the test was compromised?...

Brand new to the club

I was just diagnosed with type 2 diabetes on May 23,2012. I'm a 38 yr old, 6'1, 200lb, white male with no diabetes in family history. No idea what I'm supposed to be doing ... or not doing. Waiting...
