I found the answer by trial and error.

I was not entering heart rate values because I did not have them recorded in my paper log. Gb will not take a bp reading without a heart rate value.

I have purchased the bp module.

I have selected bp as one of my logs to display

When I enter bp info and try to save, gb returns the message, "there is nothing to save."

I am using gb 3.6.5...
