I'm on 2000mg I take 1000 morning and 1000 dinner. Also I'm on levemir 2 shots a day. Last night my BG was 264 my drs don't wont it over 150. Waiting on my dr to call me today.

I had some rice for lunch my bg jump to 247. It hit me like rock. I had open heart surgery and bypass in my neck . I take metformin 2000 mg a day. Going to see my dr next week.

I went today to the clinc they gave me 200 strips and 200 lancets. At that Clinc had my teeth pulled and cleaned also glasses all for free .

Check and see if there free Clinc around you. I go to one they give my test strips for free. If you live in Indiana go to marsh supermarket you can get diabetes med and lancets free every month.

I had heart surgery back July . Found out I'm pre diabetes my dr put me on metormin 500 mg twice a day. My bg was 189 gave me headache bad. Everytime it get over 120 feel like crap.

I get my test strip from hospital pharmacy 100 strip $10 accu chek. My meds cost me $1. There is help out there do web search or ask hospital around you.

Question Love the app but

I have heart lung diabetes and gard . This app help a lot to keep track of everything only thing is food .

One thing I would really love if it has food database like the other app diabetes app...

How many times a day did your dr say to test ? My dr told me to test 3 to 4 times a day. That way they will cover more test strips a month. With winter coming if you get snowed in.

It's not ice . It's freezer pack that you get for the cooler. I'm not for sure the name you call it. It's a blue color. You can reuse it by just refreeze it. They sell them everywhere.

My dad has type 1 and maybe my mom dr said keep an eye on her glucose.. There both 85. I take care of them. He tried all the pills but can't take them. So he is taking shot now.

I just saw one at Walmart where the meter at. It have a small disk you put in your freezer . I bet the case will hold at least two pens.

Look for a small freezer pack. And or get a small cooler...
