Hello from Mauritius
I have been diagnose with T2 early September this year. Thanks to Glucose buddy I took the beast by the horn and manage to bring my fasting blood sugar level from 9 to 6.3 without medication. Within that short period of time I reduced my weight from 85Kg to 77kg by eating low carbohydrate and plenty of exercise. Every morning I walked thirty minutes to and from the bakery. To work, I park the car ten minutes walk from the office and after dinner I walk for another 45 minutes. I do not know whether I'll be able to bring the level further down. My moral is quite high.
My worry is that I have been told that at one time or the other I shall have to take medication to control it. Is it true? |
Welcome to the Forum! :)
Medicines may very well be in you future. However, taking meds is not the end of the world. I am on insulin, five shots per day minimum, and doing quite well. |
Thanks Dano for the encouraging words and support.

You are welcome!
Congrats on the weight loss and the exercise program you have initiated. It looks like you are on the right track. |
