Read Only Mode via iPhone

I can't participate in the forum via the iPhone App - it says I am in read only mode. Synching and everything else works fine.
Pls advise.

The in-app forum does not work real well for anyone. This works for me most of the time: Try opening GB and go straight to the forum icon first.
