BG max value 27.6 mmol/L

Why is the maximum value for BG 27.6 mmol/L? I had the need to enter 29.5, but the app gave an error saying that the value should be < 27.7

Some meters, like those made by Abbott, max out at 27.7, and I'm guessing this si why. The majority of meters max out at 33.3, though.
