Victoza Injections

Any type of feed back on Victoza?
I have been type 2 for 5 years, and it is not controlled. Dr wants me on this to loose weight, & control BG. Last A1c 11.3.

There is some lawsuit going on with this drug due to its side effects. Why not take oral meds instead if you need them or try acupuncture and herbs such as cinnamon, bitter melon and Venadium. Natural is the best way to go!!!

I've been on Victoza for 3+ years and no issues. An occasional bruise from the injection and some queasiness until my body adjusted to the full dose, but that's normal. It is effective in lowering my sugar. Very expensive, so check your insurance coverage. Unfortunately, no significant weight loss for me. Hope this is helpful.

I tried victozia and was extremely nauseated. Stayed in bed with a pail and lost 12 lbs in 3 weeks because I couldn't eat anything. No appetite which was great and my sugar was in the 80-100 but had to stop taking it. Sure wish I could have tolerated it.

I took Victosa and it was a Godsend! I lost 10 lbs and my sugars ran 95 & 100s for two years. Then the almighty insurance quit paying for it. Nothing else worked. I've just been put on insulin.

My father was on Victoza for 2 years and the side effect was bad he developed Pancreatic cancer he past away. Do to that insulin medication

Started Victoza about one month ago. Had several minor side effects. I have lost 15lbs to date and my BG is around 100 daily. It's been great for me

Indigestion from Victoza

I tried Victoza for about 6 months. It helped reduce A1C and it helped lose weight but the indigestion was unbearable. Used Prilosec with it and still had stomach issues. Now taking Jardiance for a month and has helped with control of BS.

I started taking this about 3 weeks ago I was pretty nauseated the first 2 weeks but now I seem to have adjusted to the medicine too date I have lost 12lbs and my levels tend to stay from 72-102 so far I am very happy

I was on Victoza before. I suffered itchiness. I had to start taking Benadryl for it. My levels responded really well to victoza. I just couldn't handle the itchiness anymore.
