anyone experience lactic acidosis

I was diagnosed with type 1 or type 2, dr or PN didn't give me a real answer but after researching I'm type 2. I was not given an actual count of between #s of carbs to intake, I do have a nutritionist appt next month which quite a ways but going on my own and reading other sites or what's on here. Since being diagnosed, I have experienced hard to breath, fatigue, dizzy, sometimes nauseous, and pain on right side. I have gone back to Dr or PN & was give meds for viral infection &still same symptoms still there. I dont think they heard me saying my symptoms or even from the beginning. I reached metformin pills I was given to take 4 times daily & found that it may cause lactic acidosis. Has anyone experienced this?

I am working out, keep very low carb intake & lots of water, this I'm learning from all my researches, it Bugs how much food I had to cut off, moderate or not, I noticed in these past 3 weeks I've lost more than 15 lbs.. 20 lbs.

UPDATE.... Since posting the above, come to find out my gallbladder was inflamed & in April it was removed, pain was too great. I'm now feeling lots better, bit nauseous at times, my sugars has been ok, & most times feeling shaky like I need a sugar pill. I must be better but I'm still Im on diabetic diet & taking metformin twice a day. I have an appointment next week on how my sugars are doing & see if they'll do a A1C again. I have lost about 30 lbs, & still doing some exercise, mostly 30... 40 min walks, nothing strenuous just yet. This experience I know was caused by stressed over the few years & now, taking it easy. I'll update again next week on my results of A1C & see how I've done by the changes of eating habits, more exercise & less stress.
