Toujeo?
 

Hi everyone!
I'm new in this forum and have mostly just been reading what everyone is writing, and i've gotten a lot of really good tips from here!
Anyway.. I had a check-up and my doctor is switching me from Lantus to Toujeo. Anyone got any experience with it? As I understand it is a fairly new insulin, at least new on the market in Finland where I live. I've been reading up on it and it sounds really good, but does anyone have first-hand experience of it?

My 18 year old daughter and 26 year old son are on it . It works excellent!

Toujeo is the only insulin I've taken since my diagnosis. It has worked well for me. At least here in the USA they offer some free coaching. The in person class I went to for no cost was far superior to that offered by my local health system.

In the USA Toujeo is extremely expensive and not yet covered by my insurance. It would have been around $1500 USD per month out of pocket, but after contacting sonofi (Manufacturer) they gave me an Rx savings card so I get it for $15 USD/month.
