Thick blood

Hi, I was diagnosed type 2 a few weeks ago and have been testing my blood with no problems doing this until tonight. I ate something I shouldn't have earlier this evening and noticed my vision was a bit blurry so I checked my blood glucose and it was 140. This is high for me, I don't take any meds and am just learning this whole thing. So to lower my blood glucose I exercised with moderate intensity for about 26 minutes. When I took my blood glucose again it was 100 so the exercised worked. The problem was that I couldn't get myself to bleed. Seriously, I lanced myself six times with a deeper level of lancing than normal, And when I did my blood was very thick and viscous. I tried searching this out on Google and really didn't get an answer. Has anyone experienced this and what does it mean?

Vitamin E and an aspirin a day will thin your blood.

Thank you, aspirin tears my stomach up but I did not know about vitamin E. I appreciate your response, I have been feeling quite lost trying to figure this all out.

It was probably due to dehydration from exercise.
